Introductory Printmaking and Ceramics Workshops for Adults
Ardscoil Na Mara is offering a 6 week program in both Ceramics and Printmaking. Workshops will run from 6.15 – 8.15 on Tuesday evenings. 01/03/22 – 05/04/22 inclusive. No prior knowledge or experience is required to take part in this workshop. Spaces are limited to 10 participants per workshop and the cost is €60 per participant

Printmaking on Fabric and paper
Learn how to print onto fabric and paper. Participants will be introduced to the lino block and intaglio printing processes, they will be instructed in the techniques, materials, and equipment associated with the processes. Mark-making, drawing, stencilling, pattern, and colour will be explored to make unique printed fabric, wrapping paper, and gift cards.
Ceramics
Participants will be introduced to hand building methods, surface decoration techniques, firing and glazing processes. They will be facilitated in a series of mini projects to develop and practice techniques and skills. Participants will then get an opportunity to realise a final individual project.
