Two of our second year students, Jovana Gajic and Roisin Ni Chadhla are competing in the BT Young Scientist Competition in January.
Their project is about the attitudes, opinions and awareness surrounding the Cervical Cancer scandal, the HPV vaccine and the health system in Ireland.
They are carrying out fantastic work at the minute to promote their project, including meeting Vicky Phelan and Carol Murray, attending a briefing by the Royal College of Physicians in Leinster house with Senator Grace O Sullivan, interviews on RTE News, WLR and with Munster Express.
They have now reached their target for their online survey and they are so thankful to the 5,648 who took the time to do our survey.
