International Day of the Girl.
International Day of the Girl is being marked in a very special way by our past pupil Mairéad Butler. Today she will take over the office of Taoiseach Michéal Martin - an office which has never been held by a woman.
We here at Ardscoil na Mara, had always predicted she would some day take that seat but we probably didn't think it would be so soon. Well done Mairéad, we are very proud.
