2022/2023 Update.
To continue to good work started in 2021/2022 Ardscoil na Mara has decided to make CPR 4 Schools training part of our yearly curriculum to ensure that every student that goes through our doors will be trained in the lifesaving skills.
The CPR 4 Schools lessons have been written into our PE curriculum going forward where all 1 st years will received 2 hours of training.
To ensure that our students don’t lose these important skills all classes will complete refresher courses in 3 rd year and 5 th year, with TY students also completing a First Aid module.
That means that each year over 240 students will receive training for the first time along with over 600 other students receiving refresher training.
This training of over 800 students every year will hopefully make a huge difference to our town of Tramore and the surrounding areas.
